Target’s private label assortment is expanding with the launch of Figmint, a new line of kitchenware products.

Officially hitting stores on Sept. 24, the product collection will offer shoppers more than 250 items from which to choose. This includes enameled cookware, ceramic mixing bowls, and acacia wood cutting boards. Prices start at $3 and more than half of the assortment is priced at less than $10.

“What I love about Figmint is that this brand meets so many different guest needs. It's a beautiful design at amazing prices,” said Jill Sando, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Target. “From product to packaging, the collection makes the kitchen more accessible to every home cook. And when you combine Figmint with everything we have to offer in our Food & Beverage department, this is a brand that'll help families celebrate special moments as they prepare and enjoy delicious food — during the holidays and beyond.”

Products in the new assortment are made from a variety of materials including granite, stainless steel and acacia wood that show up throughout the collection. The selection of pots, pans, mixing bowls, kitchen utensils and gadgets, and food storage was also designed with sustainability and accessibility in mind, Target officials said.

The retailer’s design team worked with occupational therapists to help create packaging with easy-open tabs and exposed grips and handles that make it easy for guests to lift and carry the products while shopping. More than 95% of Figment items do not have plastic in the packaging.

Among the highlights of Figmint include:

  • The 5-piece Ceramic Mixing Bowl Set ($30)
  • The Blue Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven ($70 for 7.7 quart; $60 for 5.5 quart) that’s induction, electric and gas stove compatible, and oven-safe to 500°F
  • The End-Grain Acacia Wood Cutting Board ($30)

The debut of Figmint comes as Target is unveiling its plans for the upcoming holiday shopping seasons. In addition to its new kitchenware line, the retailer’s assortment will feature thousands of new items from owned brands such as Good & Gather and Threshold along with Target exclusives.

Among the highlights is the new long-term strategic partnership with Austin-based, fashion-meets-philanthropy lifestyle brand Kendra Scott, through an exclusive collection and dedicated shopping experience. The Kendra Scott at Target collection includes more than 200 jewelry and accessories items, with most items priced less than $40.

Target is also bringing back its popular partnership with iconic British retailer Marks & Spencer to offer guests an expanded assortment of exclusive gourmet food and beverage gifts. More than half of this year's Marks & Spencer assortment is priced less than $10, with select gifting items starting at less than $5.

"This is a time the Target team shines, and we're ready to deliver affordability, inspiration and convenience to help our guests celebrate holiday traditions with loved ones," said Christina Hennington, chief growth officer, Target. "We'll have great deals every day, on top of our everyday low prices. And between our only-at-Target exclusives, robust assortment of owned and national brands, new partnerships, and industry-leading fulfillment services, Target is making it easier than ever for our guests to embrace the joy of the season."
