Target Launches Fall-Inspired Private Label Collection
“Overall, we are seeing a shift from brands centering on one key flavor to dynamic pairing profiles, such as from apple to apple cinnamon crisp, and pumpkin to pumpkin crème pie and pumpkin pecan,” private brand consultancy Daymon told Store Brands. “Consumers continue to look forward to the return of pumpkin spice, with this flavor providing a sense of seasonal comfort and nostalgia they can expect from retailers.”
The launch of these new private label products continues to bolster Target’s position as a leader in private label. During the company’s recent second quarter investor conference call, Christina Hennington, executive vice president and chief growth officer, said that within Target’s merchandising efforts, the company will continue investing in its own brand portfolio.
