Stem & Root takes hold at CVS

CVS, pretty fresh off its Live Better launch, has some excellent merchandising in stores for its exclusive Stem & Root plant-based products.

The expansive, new and improved Live Better products touch many health categories from vitamins and supplements to sun care and oral care, so Stem & Root is a smaller offering in the supplements category. The plant-based products aim to help consumers with aches and pains, stress and sleep.

The displays spotted by Path to Purchase Institute editors, a sister brand of Store Brands under the EnsembleIQ company, include a creative shelf unit with plant graphics to support the plant-driven design of the packaging. The display was found in a store in West Columbia, S.C.

Additionally, a wellness island display, shoppable from multiple sides with lighting to highlight the products included special sections for the Stem & Root products. The unit was located in a store in La Quinta, Calif.

To explain the natural science behind the wellness items. CVS also has a dedicated page for Stem & Root online to discuss its “proven plant power” that’s backed by 23 clinical studies. For more on CVS from the Path to Purchase Institute, members have access to more than 3,700 photos on the chain.
