Bob Eddy has been chosen as the club retailer’s new president and CEO, with Laura Felice named to the CFO role; both appointments follow the unexpected death of CEO Lee Delaney in early April.
The move comes amid other sustainability-focused efforts from the pet retailer, including efforts to remove packaging waste across its private label portfolio.
Lee Delaney died Thursday, the company said. In the wake of his passing, chief administrative and financial officer Bob Eddy will serve as interim CEO.
The Socati Formulations division will offer a full concept-to-market service for companies building products with customized cannabinoid ratios and trendy functional ingredients.
Company has acquired Proteus Industries, a privately owned food technology company and ingredient supplier, focusing on clean label protein applications.
