Walmart ushers in Gap Home with livestream, lookbook

Ahead of the June 24 launch online, Walmart will host a Facebook shop-along where shoppers can gain early access to buy featured items in the exclusive home collection.

Walmart’s Gap Home launch goes live at 12 a.m., eastern, June 24, on

The iconic mass merchant that partnered with the iconic apparel chain Gap to develop a line of exclusive home goods are making the items available on However, shoppers who attend a Gap Home Shop-Along livestream on the Walmart Facebook page and via, at 6 p.m., eastern, June 23, can have early access at purchasing select Gap Home products.

Walmart also released a lookbook highlighting the collection, something it did for its trendy Free Assembly brand.

For the livestream event, TV personality and fashion designer Whitney Port will host alongside the head of Gap Home Anouar Alami and interior designer Dabito. Viewers will be able to buy a Tie Dye Reversible Comforter Set in Lavender for $54.98, a New Bone 16-piece Dinnerware Set for $48.97 or a Melange Organic Cotton 6-Pack Towel Set in Blue for $39.98 before they officially launch on

When launched, the line will encompass more than 400 items across home décor, tabletop, bedding and bath. Products include bedding to tableware and more inspired finds that fit the look and feel of Gap.
