Target has tapped exclusive products for Halloween and the holiday gift-giving seasons.

The retailer already launched exclusive costumes for Halloween but a new Threshold line aims to help shoppers decorate for the season, partnering with designer John Derian.

Threshold is the flagship own brand home line for Target and the new stylish yet spooky offshoot includes decorations like a 5-ft.-tall stuffed skeleton and more functional party items like plates and glassware. The themed line is said to be inspired by otherworldly objects and imagery to have a more elevated aesthetic than just spooky creatures.

The items can help shoppers celebrate Halloween at home, as the holiday will surely be modified due to the pandemic. “During a Halloween that’s sure to be anything but ordinary, our guests are craving little moments of joy with those they love — and Target’s pulling out our best tricks to treat them to a Halloween they’ll never forget,” said Jill Sando, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Style and Owned Brands, Target. “From truly unique décor and accessories from John Derian for Threshold to costumes, candy and inspiring activities and convenient pickup and delivery options, Target has everything families need to celebrate the season safely.

Derian has partnered with Target multiple times over the years on exclusive collections, most recently launching a 20th Anniversary Collection.

For the upcoming holiday season, Target also launched a partnership with famed toy retailer FAO Schwarz to bring 70 toys like a Giant Piano Dance Mat (reference to the famous scene in the Tom Hanks movie “Big”) and Retro RC Bumper Cars. The toys will be promoted and sold at a dedicated page online. The full collection of toys will be released on Oct. 18.
