GNC Adds New Pre-Workout Forumula to AMP Collection

The new GNC AMP Tri-Phase line of pre-workout powder is designed to further enhance workouts, adding to the retailer's growing private label portfolio.

Health and wellness retailer GNC is expanding its private label workout offerings with the launch of GNC AMP Tri-Phase pre-workout powder.

Available in three flavors, the new supplement is designed to “power mental stimulation, muscle energetics and enduring performance” during workouts. GNC shoppers can choose between cherry limeade, lemonade and lemon lime flavors, with each 12.8-ounce tub priced at $44.99.

The pre-workout offers add to the growing GNC AMP collection of items, which includes premium protein powders, protein shakes and most recently, hydration products.

Private label products are continuing to be a large part of GNC’s merchandising strategy. Last year, Allison Bentley, senior director of Merchandising Initiatives & Consumer Insights at GNC, spoke with Store Brands about how pandemic trends are continuing to shape the retailer’s product portfolio.
