The Anaheim Convention Center will be the destination for this year’s International Dairy Deli Bakery Association’s (IDDBA) annual trade show, with the three-day event kicking off on Sunday, June 4.

The trade show will feature a number of private label manufacturers showcasing new and existing products available for retailers, as well as live demonstrations and a star-studded lineup of guest speakers.

On Sunday, Rick Stein, VP of Fresh Foods at FMI- The Food Industry Association, will kick off the General Sessions with his The Power of Bakery presentation. Stein will be followed by Whitney Atkins, VP of Marketing at IDDBA, and Heather Prach, VP of Education at IDDBA, who will detail What’s in Store for 2023 in the dairy, deli and bakery categories. Padma Lakshmi, the Emmy-nominated food expert, television personality and a New York Times best-selling author will then take part in a moderated Q&A. The expo floor will be open from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

On Monday, Food Network personality and award-winning cook Alton Brown will kick-off the day’s speaking events with his Some Things I’m Pretty Sure About Food presentation, which will be followed by an address from IDDBA President and CEO David Haaf. Before the expo floor opens at 11 a.m., legendary actor and recent coffee CPG founder Tom Hanks will take part in a moderated Q&A.

On Tuesday, the expo floor will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. A handful of exhibitor spots are still available for the three-day event.

“The show floor is at capacity, just shy of 2,000 booths and representing over 800 companies, but there are a few spaces left,” Atkins told Store Brands. “Those wanting to exhibit can do so. This is perfect for potential exhibitors in driving distance to Anaheim.”

In addition to walking the show floor and sampling new and unique products, attendees can check out exhibitions and demos that will include virtual reality training, bread and coffee making robotics and more.

“There are a record number of retail attendees waiting to see our exhibitors best of the best products and business solutions,” said Atkins. “The IDDBA’s five guiding trends will come to life this year in our ‘What’s in Store Live- The Year of Technology’ experience. It is a must-see. From trends to technology, those visiting will have all senses ignited. Oh, and ‘What’s In Store Live’ will be about offering experiences like eating a scorpion!”
