CLT brings air freshener technology to store brands

New to private label production, CLT has launched a line of air freshener cones using its airall gel air freshener cone technology. The products were unveiled during PLMA Live! Presents Private Label Week.

The air freshener program from Toronto-based CLT is said to be a premium line of air freshener products but at a value. They come in three main options: the airall Natural Essential Oils Collection, airall Classic Collection, and airall Specialty Scents.

The products and the airall technology were developed after CLT acquired the former Reckitt Benckiser manufacturing facility in 2015, said Jack Wilkinson, CLT president and CEO. “We developed airall and have built upon the incredible manufacturing quality standards that we inherited,” he said. “CLT is thrilled to offer a first-of-its-kind private label program to global retailers that truly provides the best quality product at a price point that consumers simply cannot ignore.”

CLT International also has 15 years of experience manufacturing brand name products and has acquired and revitalized heritage brands Salon Selective and Daily Defense. The company ships to more than 80,000 retail doors globally.

The three options under the store brand portfolio differ in scents and technology. They are:

  • airall Natural Essential Oils Collection — deemed the first naturally derived luxury air freshener cone experience for private label, this collection combines airall Solid Air Freshener technology with 100% natural essential oils. The products are geared toward more health-conscious retailers and consumers — featuring aromatherapeutic essential oils such as Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Rosemary, Bergamot, Ginger, and Patchouli.
  • airall Classic Collection — considered more staple products of the air care segment for more than 30 years, the airall Classic Collection leverages gel cone air fresheners that fuel habitual repeat purchases of multiple units. Scents feature Lavender Fields, Mountain Breeze, Crisp Apple, Tropical Garden, Wild Raspberry, and flexibility for unique retailer scents.
  • airall Specialty Scents — generating new options for consumers, airall Scented Impressions products can come in designer fragrances such as Victoria Secret’s Bombshell, Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream, Polo Black, Armani Code, and more. The airall Seasonal Collection also provides the opportunity to introduce variety with favorites such as Fresh Cranberry, Fresh Evergreen, and Autumn Spice.
