The discount grocer continues its expansion efforts that include locations from California to Massachusetts.

Along with her husband, Tom, she helped start the convenience store chain that now has 650 locations.

The close-out chain has now acquired 15 locations from the bankrupt retailer.

In addition to its new location in Illinois, the specialty grocer also opened a new store in Crofton, Maryland.

With new stores in Florida and Indiana, the retailer is nearing 250 locations.

The new locations are the grocer's first stores in the communities of Shrewsbury (NJ) and Lake Forest (CA).

The $150 million loan will be used by the retailer to support its efforts as it navigates Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
