Weis Markets is highlighting private brands in a holiday meal promotion.

Regional grocer Weis Markets is rolling out its “Inflation Busters” Christmas Dinner promotion that features a broad assortment of the retailer’s private brand products.

Running from November 30, the core of the meal deal is a free Smithfield hickory smoked or brown sugar spiral sliced ham when 400 Weis Reward points are redeemed. The total meal highlighted by Weis is said to cost shoppers less than $25.

Among the private label products sold under the Weis brand are brown sugar, pineapple chunks, instant potatoes, marshmallows, canned vegetables, cream of mushroom soup and crispy onions. Also included are Bruce’s yams, Sister Schubert’s dinner yeast rolls, and Mrs. Smith’s pumpkin pie.

The mailer, which included two coupons offering $5 off a purchase of $25 or more, also promoted the grocer’s app, and its Weis2Go pickup and delivery service.
