Webinar: Driving private brand success

Even before the coronavirus pandemic hit, store brands had been driving significant growth for retailers. During the pandemic, private brands gained even more ground as some shoppers bought store brand items for the first time due to out of stocks or saving money.

Looking deeper at what this growth means, sister publication Progressive Grocer is hosting a webinar with David Ciancio, global head of grocery retail at dunnhumby, and Linda Severin, brand loyalty expert. The webinar titled "A Retailer Roadmap for Private Brand Building Success" will discuss how retailers can maintain and build more private brand success.

During the webinar, the experts, along with Mike Troy, executive director of Progressive Grocer and Retail Leader, publications like Store Brands housed under EnsembleIQ, will address do’s and don’ts of launching a new own brand, share key insights from global private brand retail leaders, and present foundational principles of private brand success, and more.

Register here to attend the free webinar scheduled for Feb. 10.

Analysts dunnhumby this week released its latest Retailer Preference Index, naming Amazon tops over H-E-B and Trader Joe’s. Private brand portfolios certainly play a vital role in how retailers rank, but the index awarded Amazon for its handling of the pandemic.
