The back-to-school season is underway and Walmart is offering a host of deals as students prepare to head back to the classroom.

According to figures from the National Retail Federation, families with children in elementary through high school plan to spend an average of $874.68 on clothing, shoes, school supplies, and electronics. Walmart said it is offering a selection of products priced at less than $10 to help parents, teachers, and students buy the items needed for the company school year.

“At Walmart, we are proud to offer a back-to-school assortment that will excite our customers – enabling them to find everything on their list at the prices they know they can trust us to deliver,” said Julie Barber, executive vice president of general merchandise at Walmart. “My team and I look forward to being a part of such a memorable time in our customers’ lives each year.”

The retailer is offering specials on a host of items across the store:

  • Thousands of back-to-school items under $10: With items from top national and private brands, Walmart is helping families stay on budget while prices are top of mind again this year, such as Pen+Gear composition books for $0.50, and Pen+Gear highlighters for $0.88.
  • Supply list necessities including pencil pouches, backpacks, and notebooks.
  • First-day fashion: products from Walmart’s private brands including the relaunched No Boundaries, plus Free Assembly, Scoop, and Wonder Nation will be featured.
  • Best-in-class tech: in addition to a selection of familiar brands, Walmart is also offering items at a fraction of typical costs through Walmart Restored, a collection of refurbished tech and appliances powered by Walmart Marketplace.
  • New this year, customers can shop Walmart’s one-click food basket, which provides two weeks of lunches for just about $2 per day. The basket features 16 kid-approved items, including PB&J essentials, juice, fruit, and snacks, for easy and affordable school lunches. The basket is available for easy pickup and delivery services on Walmart.com and the Walmart app through Sept. 15.

Additionally, Walmart is offering a broad selection of products for teachers. The Classroom Registry experience on Walmart.com and the Walmart app was designed to assist educators in reducing their expenses for classroom supplies. This tool is said to make it easy for educators to plan, shop, and share their classroom wish lists. Registries can easily be found by searching Walmart’s registry page by the teacher’s last name and state.
