Trader Joe's was the top ranked grocer in the recent 2024 Best Brands For Customer Service List.
Trader Joe’s has long been known for having a robust and loyal fan base, and now the specialty grocer has earned top marks for having a high level of customer service.
In the 2024 Best Brands for Customer Service List from HundredX, Trader Joe’s is ranked No. 5 overall is the the top ranked grocery store in the list that recognizes the top 300 brands for customer service. The results are based on more than four million pieces of consumer feedback about 3,000 businesses gathered during the past year.
In addition to Trade Joe’s, the top five includes The UPS Store, Chick-fil-A, REI, and USAA.

Trader Joe’s remains one of the nation’s more popular grocers and is one of only a handful of retailers across the U.S. that focuses its product assortment on private label products.
Other grocers on the list include Publix (No. 7), Wegmans (No. 24), Central Market (No. 35), Market Street (No. 37), H-E-B (No. 54), Hy-Vee (No. 107), The Fresh Market (No. 123), Natural Grocers Vitamin Cottage (No.. 128), Whole Foods Market (No. 134), Sprouts Farmers Market (No. 168), Harris Teeter (No. 174), Martin’s Super Markets (No. 189), Ingles Markets (No. 215), Piggly Wiggly (No. 239), Stater Bros. (No. 242), Tom Thumb (No. 289), and Market Basket (No. 292.)
Convenience stores, many of which continue to expand their assortments of private label products, were also included on the list. They are Buc-ee’s (No. 12), Kwik Trip/Kwik Star (No. 13), QuikTrip (No. 17), Wawa (No. 95), Maverik (No. 200), Sheetz (No. 236), and Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores (No. 296).
