As college students across the U.S. make final preparations before heading back to campus, Target is rolling out a range of new dorm room decor and apparel that includes its new The Wild Collective premium apparel brand.

Target is touting The Wild Collective as a fashion-forward collection of licensed NCAA apparel with styles exclusive to Target hitting select stores on Aug. 10. The new owned brand joins other private label apparel such as Wild Fable, JoyLab and Goodfellow & Co. that are sold exclusively at Target.

"When it comes to the back-to-college season, Target is triple majoring in design, quality and value," said Jill Sando, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer of Apparel & Accessories, Home and Hardlines at Target. "Between our on-trend, beautifully designed owned brands and beloved national brands across our total assortment, we have everything you need to get the new school year started in a style that’s distinctly yours, and at prices you’ll love just as much.”

The retailer’s Wild Fable owned brand will feature dorm-ready loungewear along with other apparel, accessories and new sleepwear. Pointelle tanks, baby tees, boxer shorts, fleece pants, and sweatshirts start at just $5, with everything under $25. Accessories include claw clips, jewelry and slippers.

Target is also putting the spotlight on its private label brands to help students create a comfortable dorm room setting.

Its Room Essentials brand includes items across bath, bedding, decor, dining, furniture, kitchen, lighting, mirrors, storage, and more, with prices starting at $1. The retailer is also highlighting themed collections: College Commons, a luxe collection for calming rituals; Varsity Hall, a preppy collection to elevate a study space; Maximalist Lounge, a retro collection for an eclectic style; and Social Suite, an elevated collection to level up hangouts.

Other notable collections include:

  • Threshold with Studio McGee: The latest collection offers new items with cozy florals, multi-functional furniture and stylish decor designed for teens to create a beautiful, personalized space—with items starting at $16.
  • Brightroom: Keeping everything organized and in its place is a must for dorm and small-space living. Products include storage containers, a rolling hamper and versatile hanging storage designed for tight spaces. The products are offered in a variety of colors, styles and sizes with prices starting at $3.
