Pumpkin-flavored products tend to dominate October, but as the temperatures dip and the leaves change colors, Trader Joe’s wants to also remind shoppers that it's officially soup season.

Trader Joe’s certainly has its share of pumpkin-inspired items, but the retailer posted a blog on its latest hearty soups found on its shelves, in the refrigerator cases and even its frozen cases.

The soups on display by Trader Joe’s include:

  • Trader Joe’s Beef Pho — The dish includes cooked rice noodles, seasoned beef, a spiced beef broth that has elements of an umami-rich fish sauce, and fragrant cilantro and Thai basil. The dish pairs well with more kick from Trader Joe’s Sriracha Sauce;
  • Garden Vegetable Soup — A jar of this soup found on shelves is as easy as twist, pour and heat, per the retailer, and it is loaded with the farm including chunks of sweet potatoes, carrots, onions, celery, tomatoes, zucchini, red bell peppers, leeks, kale, Swiss chard and spinach. The broth is made with a mix of tomatoes, carrots, celery, onions, herbs and olive oil;
  • Corn Poblano Chowder — A think and creamy soup that follows a traditional corn chowder recipe, including diced poblano peppers, potato chunks, sweet corn kernels, diced red pepper, peas and cilantro; and
  • Trader Joe’s Lentil Soup with Ancient Grains — A comfort dish to pair with a Trader Joe’s Organic French Baguette, this tub of soup in the refrigerated section has lentils, quinoa, amaranth and millet in a savory broth that stirs in tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, and a range of veggies and spices.
