Small Italian market intros store brand meat, fish

Filiera Valore is a new private brand meat and seafood line being launched in the Italian hypermarket Bennet, a small chain with around 60 locations and founded in 1964.

The products will be available online, too, and packaged in a color-coded system with red for meat products and light blue for fish, as reported in European Supermarket Magazine.

The packaging also carries images, official seals and information that reflect the brand’s strong animal welfare standards. The Filiera Valore private brand products stem from a value chain project that Bennet is implementing around animal welfare within its supply chain.
