Schnucks has rolled out a new exclusive meal solution, catering to families eating more at home.
The prepared meals are called Restaurant Selections by Schnucks and launched this month, with new bi-montly meals rotating in through March.
The meals will be featured under different themes. For January and February, meals match a theme of “Eat Good to Feel Great,” featuring roasted salmon fillets, smokehouse rotisserie pork roast, turkey stuffed peppers, Mediterranean turkey meatloaf and airline chicken breast. The March and April menu will focus on Mediterranean and Italian foods like linguine carbonara, sausage and peppers, pork osso bucco and chicken scallopini. The meals come with a selection of side dishes as well like wild rice pilaf, roasted beets with feta and others.
Looking at expanding the program throughout the year, other themes being considered will be barbeque, Southwest cuisine and comfort foods.
“Our goal is to provide our customers with restaurant-quality meals that focus on healthier, and at the same time, high-quality, delicious dining options,” said Schnucks vice president of deli and prepared foods Geoff Wexler. “These new selections will make Schnucks Delis a destination for time-sensitive customers seeking tasty and popular meals that they are proud to serve to their families.”
Schnucks Rewards customers can check the mobile app each week for special digital coupon offerings around Restaurant Selections meals. Schnuck Markets, St. Louis, operates 112 stores throughout the Midwest.
