Sam’s Club is showcasing its branded and Members Mark outdoor collection with a virtual shopping experience featuring backyard inspiration from leading designers.

The company’s creative director for Member’s Mark, Jonathan Stiers, partnered with Nate Berkus, Becki Owens and Jennifer Houghton to create popup outdoor escapes across the country that it then captured with 360-degree photography and placed within its Deck the Yard virtual reality shopping experience.

Stiers’ popup was installed at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Ark., and it showcased Member’s Mark dining sets and melamine collections. Berkus’ popup was installed in front of Flatiron Plaza in New York, while Houghton’s pop-up found a home in Dallas and Becki Owens’ vision popped up in Calabasas, Calif.

Each VR experience allows users to view which products are used and directs them to the Sam’s Club website, where members can purchase products.

“I think I can speak for all the designers when I say that we really enjoyed dreaming up these spaces and shopping the items available at Sam’s Club to bring our vision to life,” Steiers said.
