PLMA postpones 2021 World of Private Label event
The Private Label Manufacturers Association will be moving the World of Private Label trade show to a later date in 2021, the organization announced Thursday.
The event was scheduled to return to an in-person event May 18 at the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam, its traditional home. "In light of ongoing concerns and government restrictions related to COVID-19,” PLMA said, the show will be bumped to later in the year and is pending a date.
Last year’s event was canceled due to the pandemic, but the association held an in-depth virtual event.
Beginning Feb. 1, PLMA also will be kicking off its PLMA Live! Presents Private Label Week online experience. The five-day event includes keynote speakers from top retailers and nearly 40 total educational sessions. The event also will bring retailers and suppliers together via a proprietary platform for face-to-face meetings. Store Brands spoke with Anthony Aloia about leveraging the show.
Store Brands will be covering the show next week with a Show Daily newsletter for every day of the event. Subscribe to SB's newsletters here.
