Path to Purchase offering online seminar on impact of private brands
Store brands are on the upswing and some prognosticators predict significant growth in the coming years. On Thursday, June 14, EnsembleIQ’s Path to Purchase Institute will present Private Labels: Threats, Opportunities and the Bigger Picture, an online seminar presented by Slice Intelligence Principal Analyst Ken Cassar, who will dig into Slice's panel of 5.6 million U.S. shoppers to look at private brand penetration, pricing and buyer demographics across an array of consumer packaged goods (CPG) categories.
Cassar will discuss the impact that the surge of private brands is having on national brands, leaving them with an array of challenges and strategic choices. He will discuss pricing levels of private brands and national brands and consumer groups that are amenable to or dismissive of private brands, among other topics.
