Natural Grocers Debuts Organic Pasta, Sauces
Natural Grocers continues expanding its assortment of own brand products with the launch of six organic wheat pastas and five flavors of organic pasta sauces.
Sold under the Natural Grocers brand, the pasta is made with organic durum wheat semolina, is Certified Organic, vegan, non-GMO, and crafted with plant-based and dairy-free ingredients.
The new line of pasta sauces is Certified Organic, gluten-free, made without added sugar, and non-GMO. Four flavors are also Demeter Certified Biodynamic — a biodynamic farms and products standard that requires self-sustaining farming practices and 10% of the farm acreage preserved as biodiversity habitat.
"Pasta is a food that inspires connection and creativity in the kitchen,” said Raquel Isely, vice president of Marketing at Natural Grocers. “With our new organic wheat pasta and biodynamic pasta sauces, we are providing our customers with the exceptional taste, texture, and flavor they deserve—whether they're whipping up a quick weeknight meal or crafting a gourmet feast.”
The pasta varieties include spaghetti, fettuccine, fusilli, shells, penne, and farfalle. All products are made in Italy, sold in 16-ounce packages, and priced at $2.79 each.
Sauce flavors include puttanesca, ortolana, arrabbiata, classic Italian basil, and tomato ricotta. Each sauce is made in Italy, sold in 12-ounce jars, and priced at $4.99.
Established in 2016, Natural Grocers house brand currently offers more than 800 high-quality products, available exclusively at Natural Grocers stores. Recent additions to the private-label line include six varieties of organic soups and assortment of own brand cleaners. Shoppers can look forward to more premium-quality products, including Organic Coffee Pods and a new line of Organic Kombuchas and Tepaches.
