Mold-Rite Packaging will be breaking ground on a new manufacturing facility in Twinsburg, Ohio, which when completed will allow the company to expand its product capabilities.

The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19. The 33,600 square foot addition will house the company’s numerous state-of-the-art injection molding manufacturing cells and allow Mold-Rite to increase production to nearly two billion packaging components each year.

“To embark on our second building expansion in just two years is a great testimony to the confidence that our customers have in us, as well as the dedication of our outstanding team, and the support of our local community,” said Jim Fitzgerald, president and CEO of Mold-Rite. “This is an exciting time for American manufacturing and we are proud to support the growth requirements of many market leading global brands from our Twinsburg operation.”

Company officials said Mold-Rite has experienced “extraordinary growth” in manufacturing closures that are used by consumers around the world
