Minges intros wooden barrels, sustainable coffee capsules

Salazar

German coffee maker Minges is expanding its packaging offerings for its private label customers, showing off two new packaging types at PLMA Live! Presents Private Label Week.

The company is introducing sustainable NCC coffee capsules, which have been certified by TÜV Austria and can be disposed of in organic waste garbage or compost. Minges noted that the capsules are available to be filled with different types of coffee, including its Organic and Aroma varieties and such classic offerings as Crema or Espresso.

While the capsules deliver a lot in a small package, Minges also is breaking out a larger packaging option — wooden barrels that shoppers can fill with 250 g of the coffee beans of their choosing.
