Lowe's Emphasizes Own Brands with New 'Bargainistas' Curated Collection

The new Lowe's Bargainistas collection features three home decor assortments inspired by influencers for shoppers looking for home style options on a budget.

Home improvement retailer Lowe’s has introduced three new curated collections of home items, including from private brands, that work together and bring a room to life. 

The Lowe’s Bargainistas collection is a collaboration between the retailer and three lifestyle and home bloggers/influencers who curated each collection to fit their personal aesthetic and taste. Taryn (@tarynnewton), Megan (@thebelleofthebudget) and Erin (@liveprettyonapenny) utilized items from the Origin 21 and allen + roth private brands in their collections. Each room design features six items, all of which can be purchased for a combined $500 or less.

The Lowe's Bargainistas curations

These are new Bargainistas collections as described by Lowe’s:

  • Taryn’s Hamptons Glam Family Room: Contemporary style meets coastal glam in this warm gathering spot for any family at an affordable price, featuring items from contemporary wall décor and vases to cozy pillows and rugs from Lowe’s exclusive traditional line, allen + roth.
  •  Megan’s Organized “Cloffice” Workspace: Inspired by the light and breezy feel of the SoCal beach towns she grew up in, Megan’s curation of loosely-woven storage baskets, modern chairs and coastal decor pieces from Lowe’s exclusive modern line, Origin 21, achieves attainable organization and beauty in any space … even an office in your closet!
  • Erin’s Transitional Bedroom: Featuring plush bedding and pillows, soothing paint colors and classic, yet modern lighting, art and accessories from brands including Lowe’s allen + roth line, this curation will help easily transform any bedroom into a tranquil, relaxing space.

“From furnishings and faux plants to bedding and baskets, the variety of beautiful pieces and design styles inspired me to tackle an overdue update,” said Erin of her collection. “I hope my curated look inspires you to create a room you’ll love, too. I wanted my curated look to be not only beautiful but attainable, whatever your budget.”

Lowe’s launched its Origin 21 brand in February of this year. Sarah Dodd, Senior Vice President of Global Merchandising at Lowe’s, spoke to Store Brands recently about the new brand.

Lowe's says it sees nearly 19 million customer transactions per week at its nearly 2,200 stores in the U.S. and Canada.
