Loop Neighborhood Debuts Private Brand

The convenience store chain's new Delish by Loop brand features an initial assortment of snacks.

California-based convenience store Loop Neighborhood has launched its Delish Loop private brand, a selection of snacks and candy the retailer said was a year i the making.

In a post on its LinkedIn page, the retailer said the assortment includes 16 options ranging from classic gummy bears to chili lime peanuts. “Our lineup is all about delivering high-quality, delicious treats that satisfy every craving,” the convenience store chain wrote. 

In a video shared by Loop Neighborhood with its LinkedIn post, other products featured included, neon gummi bears, gummi worms, sour neon worms, peach rings, apple rings, rainbow belts, strawberry belts, chili peach rings, chili melon rings, toffee peanuts, fancy chocolate, high energy, and nature’s deluxe.

Loop Neighborhood is the latest convenience store chain to boost its assortment of private label products. Other chains such as Love Travel Stops and Casey’s have recently added new collections of comfort products or continue to expand assortments of snacks and beverages.

While offering shoppers products at a strong value is the key driver of the expansion of private label products within the convenience store channel, retailers also noted a desire to develop proprietary items to build shopper loyalty.

Loop Neighborhood opened its first store in June 2013 in Santa Clara, Calif. Today, the convenience store chain has more than 50 locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, and Southern California.
