Let’s virtually meet again… and again

On the heels of the Store Brands Industry Summit, Store Brands is kicking off a series of forums, starting with one on sustainability.

During our first virtual Store Brands Industry Summit this month, attendees networked via the video platform, saw a keynote address from IRI, and viewed four panel discussions with retailers, suppliers and industry thought leaders, each with varying perspectives on trending categories and store brand growth. The sessions were short and hearty. The networking provided a chance to see a new face or catch up with an old one.

It was a lot of fun, actually, so let’s do it again next month — this time on sustainability.

In fact, let’s do it more regularly. Store Brands is excited to introduce the Store Brands Industry Forums series — all modeled after the Store Brands Industry Summit (available to view on demand for reference).

For July 27, the first forum is being planned, the Sustainability Forum, including a keynote address, four fireside panels with retailers, suppliers and thought leaders, moderated by myself, and in between sessions there will be networking breaks. Again, the forum's modeled after the successful summit. You’ll even see similar branding for this introductory summit — it’s all to reflect that you can expect to have the same experience as the summit and during future forums.

It’s a nice set up, a half-day of education and hellos to “supercharge” or boost your business, and sustainability is clearly a hot topic, as retailers like Target, Ahold, Aldi and so many others continue to look to their own brands to set the tone for a more sustainable future through packaging, fulfillment, operations, food transparency and more.

We’d love for you to be part of this event as an attendee, speaker or sponsor. Please reach out if interested, I’d love to hear from you.

As a sponsor of the summit, Christine Arden, CEO of Confitex Technology had a very nice thing to say, "The Store Brands Industry Summit provided a valuable and topical review of the state of private label, highlighting key trends, upcoming challenges and opportunities. Highly accessible and featuring leading commentators, I was very impressed with the format and professionalism which exceeded my expectations. As a sponsor of this event, I felt I gained very good value with optimal brand positioning and participation — the Store Brands team made the entire process easy and were genuine in their desire to deliver. Highly recommend!"

To attend, registration is now open for the Sustainability Forum.
