Kruger expands capabilities in Memphis
Canadian company Kruger Products, a leading producer of tissue products for private brands throughout North America, has announced it is expanding its capabilities in the United States.
The Mississauga, Ontario-based company announced that its subsidiary K.T.G. will be investing more than $20 million in a new facial converting line at its plant in Memphis, Tenn.
The new line expects to be completed during the first quarter of 2022, creating 27 new jobs at the site. The line will focus primarily on private brands where the company is growing, per last year’s fourth quarter earnings.
"This new converting line will have the latest technology and flexibility to produce a wide range of product formats for our strategic private label customers and KPLP's White Cloud brand,” said Gordon Goss, SVP, GM, U.S. & Mexico Consumer Business. "This new investment is part of our broader focus on expanding our business in the U.S. and to offering high quality tissue products to our customers."
Kruger Products manufactures quality tissue products for household, industrial and commercial use. The company operates eight FSC-certified plants in North America.
