Gopuff Revamps Digital Experience to Offer Personalized Shopping
Gopuff has updated its digital presence to include new features for shoppers using the e-commerce retailer's website or mobile app.
According to the company, shoppers will now receive a personalized experience that adapts to their lives, locations, and habits. This includes real-time, item-by-item order packing updates, personalized product recommendations, and more.

Gopuff said its new homepage is an “intelligent storefront” built on what makes the company different.
- Personalized Recommendations: Items and categories will appear based on each individual’s order history, which will include customized offers on their birthday.
- Hyper-Local Insights: Customers can now see what items are popular in their area, statistics about their city’s order history, and more. Plus, they can see other customers in their city placing Gopuff orders on a live heatmap.
- Real-Time Local Inventory: Thanks to Gopuff’s integrated model, customers see only what's available in their exact location, eliminating frustrating product replacements. The new experience leverages a customer's IP address to display what's available before they even log in.
Additionally, since Gopuff owns its inventory and only shows customers what’s currently available to them, the company said it delivers with a 99.5% order accuracy rate. And since Gopuff makes a margin on the products it sells, rather than tacking on service fees and upcharges, it’s also able to offer prices that are 30% lower than third-party apps.
Customers will also see the name of the person packing their orders and the name of the delivery person, along with the make and model of their vehicle.
With more than 5,000 products available, other features of the revamped website include:
- Sleek New Design: Customers will immediately notice a vibrant new layout and visuals on the homepage, including a new brand video starring real Gopuff customers.
- Easier Navigation, Faster Access: A new shopping experience designed specifically for the web features a left-hand navigation “mega-menu” that provides greater visibility into all of Gopuff’s categories and subcategories. Always-visible category pills simplify browsing across Gopuff’s growing assortment and make it easier to navigate between categories.
- Make Smarter Choices, Faster: Easily browse an item’s calories, fat, sodium, carb and protein content at a glance with a new Nutrition tab that also features dietary callouts like "vegan" or “gluten free.” All categories also can be easily filtered by dietary restriction or preference.
- Find What You Need, In Your Words: Customers can now search Gopuff’s inventory in any language with live translation and predictive results.
