The Fresh Market Adds Two New Stores
The Fresh Market’s store count now sits at 171 as the grocer has opened new locations in Jensen Beach, Fla., and Wethersfield, Conn. Both stores opened on April 23.
Guests at each location experienced the traditional The Fresh Market opening celebration complete with giveaways, samples, and the cracking of a more than 80-pound wheel of Parmesan cheese. The Fresh Market also continued its commitment to the local community by providing a donation of $2,000 to both the Treasure Coast Food Bank and the Connecticut Foodshare.
“We are incredibly excited and proud to bring our signature brand of service and hospitality to both of these wonderful communities,” said Brian Johnson, CEO of The Fresh Market. “We are confident our new guests will enjoy everything the Fresh Market has to offer as we strive to make their everyday eating extraordinary.”
Shoppers in Jensen Beach and Wethersfield will be able to choose from a variety of products, including meat and seafood, fresh produce, ready-to-cook and heat-and-eat meals, a curated selection of local finds, global specialty items, private label offerings, and more.
The Fresh Market will continue its growth trajectory when the grocer opens another new store in Mount Pleasant, S.C. By April 30, The Fresh Market will have opened 12 new stores over the past six months.
