The Fresh Market Boosts Chicago Store Count
The Fresh Market has opened its seventh store in the Chicagoland area, setting up shop on the north side of the Windy City in Northbrook.
The grocer’s new store, its 168th location, will offer a mix of local, organic and specialty items.
“We are incredibly excited to open our latest store in Northbrook and to continue expanding our presence in the Chicago area,” said Brian Johnson, CEO of The Fresh Market. “We look forward to delighting the community with our selection of the freshest meats, seafood, produce, and carefully curated specialty items and inspiring our guests to make everyday eating extraordinary.”
The grand opening celebration included a $2,000 donation to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Additionally, the first 500 guests through the doors received special The Fresh Market “Northbrook” reusable gift bags.
