Field Agent, a mobile app and platform that manages retail audits, shopper insights, digital

product demos, and online ratings and reviews, introduced a new self-service, on-demand platform.

The enhanced platform enables Field Agent’s retail clients to access research and marketing products on demand, including shopper insights around how customers are experiencing products and retail stores, and retail audits such as visibility into how a display or merchandise is being executed in stores. Retailers can use the platform to learn more about how its store brands are performing.

The Field Agent platform is a secret weapon for retailers who want to keep a grip on private label brands,” Rick West, CEO of the Fayetteville, Ark.-based company, told Store Brands. “Most retailers don't hire merchandising firms and leave the presentation of store brands to employees, which can result in private label brands being improperly presented compared with manufacturer brands. With Field Agent's new self-service platform, retailers can quickly get visibility into any shelf at any store, without a single phone call. Planogram compliance checks and display audits are easy wins with the platform, and retailers can also use Field Agent to gather customer insight, drive trial of new products, and solve a range of other challenges.”

Field Agent did a soft launch early in the year of the enhanced platform with its on-demand feature. The platform also offers marketing solutions, designed to drive trial online and in-store, and the new platform enables clients to access the features themselves through the platform, simpler than previously.
