Earth Fare launches healthful lifestyle magazine

Debuting this month in stores and online, the first edition of Earth Fare’s quarterly magazine, The Clean Plate, begins with an introduction titled “Why Clean Food Matters.”

The 28-page publication introduces readers to the Ashville, N.C.-based chain’s new private brand products such as Earth Fare Organic Frosted Flakes and Earth Fare Himalayan Pink Salt Kettle Chips.

“At Earth Fare, we believe that healthy food should be accessible to all Americans,” said Frank Scorpiniti, Earth Fare’s president and CEO, in a statement. “One year ago, we made a commitment to help Americans live a happier, healthier lifestyle, and The Clean Plate demonstrates our commitment to educating Americans on the important health aspects of what we put in our bodies.”

Earth Fare’s more than 1,100 store brands and the national brands that it carries reflect the chain’s “food philosophy,” which stipulates that all products sold are free of high-fructose corn syrup, artificial fats and trans-fats, artificial colors, artificial preservatives, artificial sweeteners, bleached or bromated flour, and GMOs. Meat, poultry and dairy products are sourced only from livestock that have never been administered antibiotics or growth hormones. To learn more about Earth Fare, visit its website
