C-P Flexible Packaging acquires Genpak Flexible

C-P Flexible Packaging has acquired a North American supplier of compostable packaging, expanding the leader in flexible packaging’s footprint to six locations in the U.S. and Canada, and staffing more than 750 employees.

York, Pa.-based C-P Flexible Packaging is a longstanding portfolio company of First Atlantic Capital, New York, and the acquisition of Genpak Flexible comes from The Jim Pattison Group.

Genpak Flexible offers a wide range of patented flexible packaging solutions that fits in with C-P’s best-in-class converting and printing capabilities. The packager has facilities in Aurora, Ontario, and Lakeville, Minnesota, and holds expertise in customized die-cut rollstock and pouches, as well as paper-based laminations.

C-P Flexible Packaging was founded in 1959 and carries a full portfolio of flexible packaging formats spanning HD printed rollstock, premade pouches, shrink sleeves, stretch sleeves, poly bags, roll-fed labels, reclose, cold-seal and recyclable flexible packaging.
