Baxters North America is showcasing a line of new ready-to-eat soups as well as plant-based muliticultural dishes at Private Label Week.
The Cincinnati-based manufacturer is fueling the hot plant-based category with a lineup of shelf-stable dishes that lean on global flavors. The items available for private label include an Indian-style curry with brown basmati and lentils, Moroccan-style brown rice with chickpeas, and chimichurri brown rice with quinoa.
Also joining the companies already line of ready-to-eat rice dishes for store brands, Baxters is offering new varieties with a jasmine rice, white basmati rice, and organic brown basmati rice.
The company said the meals aim to reach today’s health-minded consumers that are looking for clean foods and want convenience. The meals are packaged in convenient microwaveable pouches.
