The new hot beverages are just the latest product additions to 7-Eleven’s busy summer of 2021. In late July, the retailer launched three new flavors of its iconic Slurpees- Lemonade Bliss, Pineapple Whip, and Peach Perfect. The retailer also launched two summertime white wines as part of its Plot + Point store brand collection earlier this summer.
That store brand rollout innovated how the chain could add to summertime gatherings, creating the wines in a Tetra Pak container, with a screwcap top ideal for the beach and backyard parties.
In its mainstay morning foodservice offerings, 7-Eleven looked to spice up its coffees with the newest flavors.
“The sweet, creamy, and oh-so-coconutty flavored brew is made with 100% Arabica coffee beans and offers up toasty light-roasted notes,” the Texas-based company said. “Those looking for a mountaintop beverage experience can indulge in the decadent s’mores hot cocoa, featuring a blend of rich hot chocolate, sweet vanilla, marshmallow and golden graham flavors.”
Coconut coffee and s’mores hot cocoa may be seasonal exclusives, but will cost the same amount as normal coffees.
"As we near the end of summer, we know that many Americans are hoping to squeeze in a last minute, well-deserved vacation after a year spent close to home," said 7-Eleven Proprietary Beverages Senior Product Director Jacob Barnes. "And whether you're taking a long-awaited road trip or stay-cationing at home, there's always a nearby 7-Eleven store with fresh coffee brewing, hot cocoa simmering, and hundreds of other drinks, eats, and treats available 24/7."
