Whole Foods Market To Open New Las Vegas Store
Whole Foods Market is adding to its Las Vegas store count with the opening of a new location at 2475 S. Town Center Drive in Summerlin.
A relocation of the grocer’s existing Fort Apache store at 8855 W. Charleston Blvd., the city’s newest Whole Foods will open on May 15, and have regular daily store hours from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The new Whole Foods Market store adds to the recent grocery store activity for Nevada’s largest city. Aldi on April 24 will open its first two Las Vegas area stores in Henderson and North Las Vegas.
The Henderson store at 621 Marks St. will be located east of the famous Strip and adjacent to the Galleria at Sunset Mall. The North Las Vegas store will be located in a strip center at 2106 W. Craig Road. A third location at 7150 S. Rainbow Road is scheduled to open in May.
The Summerlin Whole Foods store will include more than 100 local items from Nevada, sourced with the help of Lisa Tosun, Whole Foods’ forager for Local and Emerging Brands. Once the relocation is complete, the grocer will operate three stores in the Las Vegas area: near The Strip at 6689 Las Vegas Blvd., and in Tenya at 7250 W Lake Mead Blvd.
