Whole Foods Market Expanding In New England
Two days after the Nashua store’s opening, Whole Foods will open a new location in Stamford, Ct., Located at 110 High Ridge Road, the 44,648-square-foot store will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Previously a Lord & Taylor, this renovated space is inspired by the former store’s layout where shoppers can explore curated spaces that give each department its own boutique feel, showcasing a blend of natural textures and rich tones. The store’s product assortment will include more than 1,000 local items from the Northeast sourced with the help of John Lawson, forager for Local & Emerging Brands at Whole Foods Market.
Additionally, New Covenant Center based in Bridgeport, Conn., will receive a refrigerated van and food donation as part of Whole Foods Market’s Nourishing Our Neighborhoods Program.
