West Liberty Foods announces new chief operations officer

West Liberty Foods, West Liberty, Iowa, has promoted 15-year company veteran Brandon Achen to chief operating officer.

The meat and poultry producer of private label for grocery and foodservice nationwide has the capacity to produce more than 650 million pounds of product across four facilities. The company appointed Achen to chief operating officer to oversee all of the operational activities in these plants and throughout West Liberty Foods, supporting operations, supply chain, human resources, health and safety, and procurement teams.

Achen previously served in various support and leadership roles for the company that served  departments such as supply chain, procurement, information technology, human resources and more.
