Walmart tool helps consumers pick a paint

The Walmart Paint Finder tool is an interactive video similar to the retailer’s recent Walmart Cookshop, and it puts its private label Color Place brand front and center.

After helping consumers in the kitchen with its interactive video series Walmart Cookshop, Walmart’s now helping consumers find the right paint color and paint type for their home.

The retailer is introducing a new desktop and mobile tool called Walmart Paint Finder. The interactive video is hosted by interior decorator and stylist Estee Stanley and consumers choose what room to paint, what color and type of paint, all with the help of Stanley.

The video feature also recommends paint to buy, highlighting its private brand of paint Color Place in two of the good, better, best options presented when using the tool.

Walmart teamed with eko, out of its New York office, to power the experience — the company also provides the Walmart Cookshop experiences.

The two companies first teamed up for other experiences such as Camp by Walmart, Walmart WonderLab, and Walmart’s Baby Gift Finder.
