Walmart identifies top sellers by state

A top-selling product in New Mexico is cat food. In Indiana, one of the most popular products is instant coffee. In Ohio, grape-flavored drink mix.

That’s according to Walmart, which recently announced the top 25 most popular items purchased on Walmart.com in each state for 2017 and identified “interesting top sellers.”

In California, where residents like to work out, protein powder is a top-seller. Across the country in Florida, sparkling cider is a favorite.

Walmart, perhaps, has done retailers a favor in identifying potential products for private brands that could sell well in each state.
