Walmart Highlights Thanksgiving Meal Deal
Walmart is setting the table for Thanksgiving by outlining a holiday meal that includes 29 at a cost of less than $7 per person based on a gathering of eight people.
The grocery list gathered by the retailer includes a mix of its own brand products along with select national brands. Consumers can shop the holiday meal in stores or via walmart.com/thanksgiving through December 25.
“Some of the holiday’s most special moments take place around the dinner table,” said John Laney, executive vice president of Food at Walmart U.S. “At Walmart, we are committed to offering customers even deeper savings on top of our Every Day Low Prices for all their mealtime needs. And with more opportunities to gift a meal and give back to those in need, we’re helping customers spread holiday cheer to their loved ones and their local communities.”
The holiday meal from Walmart includes:
- Whole Frozen Turkey 10 – 16 lb. ($0.88/lb.)
- Great Value Sweet Hawaiian Rolls (1 unit – 12oz)
- Great Value Golden Sweet Whole Kernel Corn (3 units - 15oz)
- Ocean Spray Jellied Cranberry Sauce (1 unit - 14oz)
- Great Value Canned Green Beans (2 units - 14.5oz)
- French’s Crispy Fried Onions (1 unit - 6oz)
- Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (2 units - 10.5oz)
- Great Value Brown Gravy Mix (2 units - 0.87oz)
- Marie Callender’s Southern Pecan Pie (1 unit - 32oz)
- Great Value Frozen Whipped Topping (1 unit - 8oz)
- Great Value Frozen Deep Dish Pie Crusts (1 unit - 16oz)
- Great Value 100% Pure Pumpkin (1 unit - 15oz)
- Great Value Evaporated Milk (1 unit – 12 fl oz)
- Jet-Puffed Mini Marshmallows (1 unit - 10oz)
- Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix (2 units - 8.5oz)

Walmart is also offering customers the opportunity to gift a meal directly to loved ones anywhere in the country and, new this year, donate an entire meal to their local Salvation Army unit. Donations can be made via walmart.com/thanksgiving. Purchases can also be rounded up to benefit the organization.
At participating Walmart stores and Sam’s Club locations, customers can also donate to the Salvation Army Red Kettles or buy gifts for children in need through the Angel Tree program. These efforts build on Walmart and the Walmart Foundation’s long-standing support of The Salvation Army. Last year, Walmart customers and Sam’s Club members raised more than $34 million to support local Salvation Army units, and Walmart and the Walmart Foundation have awarded more than $7 million to the organization over the last five years.

Additionally, customers can purchase a Thanksgiving meal for a loved one – whether they’re down the street or across the country. Customers can input their friend or family’s address into Walmart.com, and an entire Thanksgiving meal can be delivered straight to their door, or ready for pickup at their local Walmart.
