Walmart is taking next steps with Moosejaw, the outdoor retailer it acquired three years ago. After running promotions on Moosejaw-curated items in Walmart stores since the acquisition, the companies are launching two new, exclusive brands to be sold by Walmart and Moosejaw.

The brands are Allforth, a line of outdoor clothing, and Lithic, a line of tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and camping cookware. The new store brands from Walmart were developed in collaboration with Moosejaw.

Allforth is a brand that provides functional apparel for men and women that has performance-based fabrics and features like breakaway pants and wicking technologies, all at a Walmart value price. It appears to be only available at Walmart, whereas Lithic can be found and heavily promoted at Moosejaw and Walmart.

The Lithic backpacks are performance, hiking backpacks that range from $30 to $100 on walmart.com. The Lithic synthetic sleeping bag goes for $64; the down sleeping bag goes for $109. Tent prices start at $88.

Moosejaw has a dozen specialty stores around the country and sells hundreds of products from various brands online but will add this new store brand to the mix.
