Walgreens pairs store brand products in party recipes

In a Nov. 20 entry on its private brands blog, Deerfield, Ill.-based Walgreen Co. paired several store brand products to help shoppers create three “simple and affordable” party dishes.

“Creating the perfect appetizer or dessert doesn’t have to break the bank this holiday season,” the company said in the entry. “And in this case, you don’t even have to break a sweat.”

The three dishes Walgreens listed include DIY Holly-Jolly Party Mix, made with Good & Delish White Chocolate Drizzled Kettle Corn with Peppermint, Good & Delish Dark Chocolate Drizzled Kettle Corn with Sea Salt, Good & Delish Colossal Cashews and Nice! Mini Twist Pretzels; Wings & Veggies, made with Nice! Buffalo Style Chicken Wings and veggies; and Pecan Stuffed Dates, made with Nice! California Pitted Dates, Nice! Cream Cheese and Good & Delish Deep South Praline Pecans.
