Trader Joe’s video series highlights global cuisine

Retailer released six videos that spotlight foods and beverages from six countries only available at the retailer.

Take a virtual trip around the world with Trader Joe’s — and buy some ethnic cuisine items to get a taste of being overseas.

The retailer posted a video series that playfully takes viewers on a trip to France, Italy, Greece, India, Thailand and New Zealand, and each video spotlights the grocer’s various exclusive items from those regions available in its stores.

The videos point out how the pandemic has halted of travel for many, expressing that the products in the videos can help shoppers celebrate a “Summer Staycation Around the World with Trader Joe’s.”

Some notable items in the videos: The France video highlighted the newly launched La Ferme Julien Rose wine to pair with cheeses, bread and butter imported from France. The Italy video highlighted cheeses from Italy, as well as Uncured Salame di Parma for a charcuterie feast. Olive oils from Italy also were featured.
