Trace One introduces private brand sourcing capabilities
Developing a way for global retailers to bring private brand products to market faster, Trace One, Paris, has launched a product sourcing component to its online platform.
The company’s platform brings retailers and consumer goods companies together to develop private brand products that meet expected packaging specifications and requirements, connecting more than 20,000 companies in 100 countries. Last year, they teamed up with an automated platform developer and now rolled out Trace One E-Sourcing to enhance the efficiency of how retailers can source for private label products. The platform aims to streamline the product sourcing and business-to-business process.
"Retailers win by making their private labels available to consumers faster and get ahead of innovation," said Christophe Vanackère, CEO, Trace One. "With Trace One E-Sourcing, we want to empower retail companies of all sizes to overcome their challenges and boost their productivity by using proven innovations.”
By connecting companies digitally, Trace One E-Sourcing connects retailers and CPG suppliers quickly using the platform. "Retail partners gain a single, online source of private label RFx information rather than multiple types of offline and online tools, which improves data accuracy and efficiency," said Claire Bui, product marketing manager at Trace One.
