Topco's Sweet P's Bake Shop Extends DreamWorks Collaboration
Topco’s exclusive bakery brand, Sweet P’s Bake Shop, is extending its collaboration with DreamWorks Animation’s “Gabby’s Dollhouse” as the preschool series prepares to make its cinematic debut in late September.
Ahead of “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie” hitting theaters on Sept. 26, Sweet P’s Bake Shop will feature limited-edition “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie” packaging for its allergy-friendly, peanut- and tree nut-free Pink Frosted Sugar Cookies through Oct. 31 at participating stores.
The packaging will also feature a QR code for shoppers to access Sweet P’s Bake Shop and “Gabby’s Dollhouse” digital surprises for their children that will include playlists, educational activity sheets, and more.
Additionally, parents can follow the Sweet P’s Bake Shop Instagram page to enter to win movie tickets to see the film in theaters.
“Many of our shoppers and their children are big fans of ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse,’ so we are very excited to partner together again to celebrate the film release,” said Todd Schnuck Jr., Schnuck Markets Inc. vice president of Own Brands and a Topco member. “This collaboration is key during back-to-school season because it not only helps us connect shoppers and their children with their favorite character — Gabby — but also allows us to continue to drive awareness of the Sweet P’s Bake Shop brand.”
This fall, “Gabby’s Dollhouse” will also embark on the “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie Meowmazing Road Trip Tour” as part of the initiative, inviting families to meet and get a photo with the Gabby costume character, plus movie ticket giveaways at each event.
The tour will stop at several participating stores including the following cities and areas: Salt Lake City; Manchester, Conn.; Middletown, Conn.; Huntsville, Ala.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; St. Louis; Shawnee, Okla.; Dallas; and Los Angeles area.
