Thrive Market has instituted new quality standards that are used across the company.

Thrive Market has unveiled a new set of quality standards for products carried under its own brands and partner brands to help shoppers find items that fit their needs.

With some 5,500 products across its website, Thrive is implementing a five-pronged approach the online retailer said will give its shopper confidence in the quality of all items sold.

The five steps include:

  • Trusted Ingredients: With certified organic the first choice for Thrive, its products 100% non-GMO and free of more than 1,000 more restricted ingredients (artificial flavors, antibiotics, synthetic nitrates and nitrites, and parabens).
  • Ethical Sourcing: Thrive seeks out brands and products that follow ethical practices including fair pay and treatment for workers, strict quality standards, and safe working conditions. It also prioritizes trusted seals that verify ethical and humane practices such as Fair Trade CertifiedGlobal Animal Partnership (G.A.P.), and Leaping Bunny.

  • Plante Positive: Thrive’s warehouses are TRUE Certified for Zero Waste, and the company uses carbon-neutral ground shipping only. Thrive prioritizes partnerships with brands and suppliers that also adhere to sustainable practices so it can strengthen its impact and work toward a healthier future.
  • On A Mission: Thrive’s mission is to make healthy and sustainable living easy and affordable for everyone. It defines the company as it looks for mission-driven partners working to improve supply chains and support people, animals, and the planet.
  • Tasted & Tested: All products are vetted by Thrive’s team of product innovators and category managers. Even if it’s the most natural, ethical, and sustainable option, the company says it always ask: Is it delicious? Does it work great? Is it an absolute must-have for members? Do they love it? If it’s a yes across the board, it’s a go.
