Three New Aldi Stores Opening May 18

Aldi is opening three new stories this week as the grocer expands its presence in Southern California, the Florida Panhandle, and northeastern Ohio.

On Thursday, May 18, new stores in Murrieta, Calif., Crestview, Fla. and Kent, Ohio each will celebrate their grand opening. The first 100 customers at each new location will receive a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card during the opening weekend from May 18 through May 21.

The Murrieta and Crestview locations are the first Aldi stores in those communities. The new Kent store is the latest Aldi location in the Akron, Ohio, area. 

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier, and we’ve been voted the price leader for six years running,” said Tom Cindel, Moreno Valley (California) regional vice president for Aldi. “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Murrieta and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”
