Teachers save 20% at Walgreens

Just as Walgreens has done for military veterans and first responders, the retailer is going to host a special discount day for teachers on August 1, providing teachers a 20% discount on any store brand items or national brand items they purchase.

Teachers with a Walgreens Balance Rewards card can shop the store that day and present a teacher’s badge at checkout to receive the discount.

One difference from the promotion that Walgreens ran previously for first responders and again for veterans is the store brand discount was larger at 30%. Here, the promotion is a flat 20% across own brands and national brands throughout the store.

Teachers can shop a variety of store brands like A Little Something, Big Roll, Complete Home, Dashing Fine Gifts, Finest Nutrition, Infinitive, Living Solutions, Modern Expressions, Nice!, Patriot Candles, PetShoppe, Play Right, Smith & Save, Walgreens, Walgreens seasonal brands, Well Beginnings, West Loop, and Wexford.

The promotion doesn’t include pharmacy products, alcohol, dairy, tobacco, gift cards, lottery tickets and some other products.
